Since its inception in 1996, Strohm Newspapers has worked to spotlight the people, places, and issues that shape everyday life in Clark County. Born out of a vision to strengthen community ties and provide reliable, homegrown reporting, the newspapers quickly became a trusted source for residents of Marshall, Martinsville, West Union, Casey and the surrounding areas.
As our family reflects on nearly three decades of Clark County newspapers, we celebrate not only quality local reporting but a hard-earned family dream based on service and hometown pride. Through the most changing and challenging times for any print media business, Gary and Melody fought hard and made many sacrifices for local journalism.
